UPCOMING MEETING –
Our Fall CAUSA meeting will be hosted by the United Administrators Southern California (UASC) representing the administrator’s associations in San Diego, Chula Vista and Sweetwater and will be in San Diego at the Embassy Suites San Diego Bay Downtown located near the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village and The Headquarters. It is a short 12-minute ride from the San Diego Airport and near the beautiful San Diego Bay. Our event will be Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10.

Friday, October 9
Check in time for the hotel is 4:00 p.m. You can always contact the hotel for early check-in to see if that is available.
4:30-5:30 p.m. CAUSA Registration
5:30-6:30 p.m. Hosted Happy Hour
6:30-9:30 p.m. Dinner and CAUSA Meeting (Meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. and after dinner the meeting will resume)
Saturday, October 10
7:00-8:30 a.m. Breakfast provided by Embassy Suites (open seating, on your own)
8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CAUSA Meeting (for those traveling home, please plan to stay until the conclusion of the meeting at 12:30 p.m.)
Registration Fee:
Registration fee is $250 per attendee. This covers the meeting room, enhanced happy hour, dinner, AV costs, etc. To RSVP, click the link below. Please complete the RSVP form by September 23. Cancellations can be accepted up until that date also.

Hotel Reservations:
For reservations at the Embassy Suites San Diego Bay Downtown, click the link below. The rate is $205/night plus applicable taxes/fees for a total of $266.68/night. For each night of reservation, the attendee will receive a $25 credit towards the restaurant at the hotel. FYI, the hotel honors the rate from Thursday, October 8 to Sunday, October 11, if you wish to arrive early or stay longer to visit San Diego! Check in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 a.m. Any guests traveling with the attendee and staying in the attendee’s room will receive the complimentary breakfast and daily happy hour snacks/beverages.
Please note that the discounted rate for parking (valet only) is $40/night. It is listed on the link below as a higher rate but upon arrival it will be discounted to $40/night. For those traveling by car, there are also options to park offsite at a close location (typically offsite airport parking) and take rideshare or public transportation to the hotel.
To make a hotel reservation, click below. The deadline for hotel reservations, to receive the discounted rate, is September 16. NOTE THAT YOU MUST CHANGE THE DATES OF STAY ONCE YOU CLICK THE LINK AND THEN CLICK THE UPDATE BUTTON. Look for the edit button up near the dates of stay.
