October 14-15 (Thursday-Friday) Sycuan Casino and Resort
Dear CAUSA Colleagues,
Welcome back! The Administrators Association San Diego is hosting our Fall CAUSA meeting on October 14-15 at the renovated and beautiful Sycuan Casino and Resort. We think this will be a great location for our meeting as well as for those who wish to add on days to enjoy a mini vacation! The Sycuan Casino and Resort has many different restaurants and eateries to choose from as well as entertainment and several swimming pools – perfect San Diego October weather to enjoy the pools and lazy river.
Please Note: The Sycuan facility is now a 21+ facility — No one under 21 is permitted on the facility property.
A block of rooms is being held with the deadline to book of September 12 (no exceptions). Rooms are below. The rates apply to nights prior to the event and following the event, if you wish to extend your stay.
Tuesday, October 12 — $85 plus applicable taxes
Wednesday, October 13, $85 plus applicable taxes
Thursday, October 14 (night of the event), $99 plus applicable taxes
Friday, October 15, $185 plus applicable taxes
Saturday, October 16, $185 plus applicable taxes
Sunday, October 17, $109 plus applicable taxes
Below is the Reservation Link that attendees can use to conveniently make their room reservations online. Attendees can also call the Sycuan Reservations line at 1-619-445-6002 option 2, and mention they are with the CAUSA 2021 Fall Meeting to make reservations. All rooms being held have King size beds. If you prefer, Queen size, discuss with the reservations professional.

Transportation from Airport
Sycuan Casino and Resort is no longer running their shuttle to/from the airport.
Transportation to Sycuan Casino and Resort and back to the San Diego International Airport is on your own and takes approximately 45 minutes from the airport to the Resort and vice versa. There are multiple ride share, taxi, or private shuttle options.
If you are driving on your own or arriving via rideshare/taxi/shuttle, please note that the route is via Interstate 8 East and traffic is heavy going East after 2:30 p.m. on a Thursday. If you will be arriving on your own during that time, plan for possible traffic delays.

The deadline to register and make payment is September 24, 2021. The cost per attendee is $200 which includes Cocktail Hour on Thursday, Dinner on Thursday, Breakfast on Friday and AV/Conference Room charges. Payment may be made by check payable to AASD and sent to 3505 Camino del Rio South #264, San Diego, CA 92108 or by debit/credit card by calling the AASD office at 619-295-2118 (the office is open Monday-Thursday, 8am to 5pm). Please include the names of the attendees on any check.
This will be a Thursday-Friday event. The meeting agenda is being developed and will be forwarded as soon as it is finalized. We anticipate the Thursday event beginning at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 9:30 p.m. and the Friday morning event beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 12 noon.
